The stunning, stepped table-cut octagonal Stuart crystal is closed-back set over a rosy foil, a love token and very fine,
scrolled gold cyphers and surround, all visible under the crystal.

The graceful gold shepherd’s crook earwires go in from the front of the ear.

The Asscher-type cut crystal with squared off corners, measures 8 x 8mm, and is clean and bright.

Including the earwires, the earrings measure 5/8” overall.

Stuart crystal jewelry is commemorative of Charles I of England who died in 1649.

This type of crystal work was created in England during the 1600’s as wonderful Stuart memento mori pieces.
