Recently deaccessioned from our personal collection, this charming 17th-century framed mirror plate is bordered by a cross-grain ogee moulding. The bolection is decorated entirely in well-chosen oysters and edged with an ovolo, convex cross-grain moulding. Excellent color and patination. This is a stunning piece. As can be seen from the images, the mirror plate itself is original, adding great character. Minor repairs consistent with age.
