 A stunning, Georgian 12k gold ring set with a large, oval, beautifully-faceted citrine paste

surrounded by a halo of closed-back set, cushion cut, black-spot* diamond pastes mounted in silver.

The diamond pastes in the outer ring are crimped-set, or in rub over settings.

The central, faceted, oval, citrine paste measures 10 mm x 15 mm, and is open-back set.

The gold shank is D-shaped, and the ring is currently a size 8-1/2.

English, early 1800ís.
