A pair of brass wall sconces

Period brass serpent candle arms mounted on 20th-century designer reflectors - a marriage made in heaven! Hammered brass back plates with aged iron surrounds support period brass scrolled arms with serpent candle holders which fit into the iron braces on the reflecting backs. The brass backs were designed for Ralph Lauren’s Ancram line of lighting; the arms date from the late 1600s to early 1700s.

Measurements: backs:  13 ¾”x 10 ½”; arms: 7” x 7”. The sconces extend 8” from the wall.
