An elegant Chippendale tea caddy

 A mid-18th century tea caddy in figured mahogany, on a petite bracket base with a concave-shaped lid and its original handle and escutcheon. Inside are three bins for tea and an elongated compartment meant to house a mote spoon. A bit of velvet fabric lines the underside of the lid.
