Celadon vase on stand decorated with a pair of peacocks at a fountain.

Antique 19th Century porcelain vase in celadon and underglazed in blue and white. There are applied foo dogs glazed in blue at each side of the neck of the baluster-shaped vase, and the hand painted design shows two peacocks standing at a floral fountain crowned with a pomegranate. The height is 16 ¾”, and the width is 8". It is 18” overall, including the beautifully carved wood stand. The bottom of the vase is unmarked, and it is in lovely condition.
