Brass chamber stick with punched and chased decoration

A pleasing design, with scalloped edge and applied brass handle, seen frequently in Dutch paintings of the Golden Age. See a few examples, below.

The interior of the pan is decorated with floral punching and flowing chase decoration.

The handle is attached to the base with two copper rivets.
