Early tea caddy with “Dutch roof” lid

A stylish, small caddy with two interior bins, key, and bone escutcheon. The handsome burl veneer on the face and lid is decorated with banded inlay. On the underside is a piece of green baize.

A lovely form with modest decoration and in fine condition.
