An early 19th-century bombé shaped rosewood tea caddy

A proud tea caddy, veneered with rosewood with boxwood stringing to the edges and original brass handles with baskets of grapes. The interior partition and wood covers are now lost, giving the caddy a new functionality, while preserving its pleasing exterior.
