An early brass candle holder with octagonal base

A compact candlestick with a stepped octagonal base with drip pan and a short shaft with bobbin turnings. The socket is fitted with two small ejector holes, and the bottom of the shaft is threaded with a coarse screw that secures the stem to the base.

The stick is in good condition, except for several small dents in part of the base.
