A lovely pair of English silver sugar tongs

Purchased in New England from the estate of a sophisticated, English-born American collector, this pair of tongs is artfully made and in fine condition. Seraphs adorn the handle and the descending shafts. Each half of the set is stamped with a lion passant and the initials WG.
