Imperial half-pint pewter tankard

A very engaging form, with several rings around its delicate body and a graceful applied handle. Stamped “IMPERIAL ½ Pint”, it seems the perfect conveyance for “just a bit of the best,” but a small repair to one side of the handle makes it rather an attractive shelf piece.
