Turned sycamore bowl with remnants of an old copper rim

Another great find from London, a simple early sycamore bowl that was once fitted with a copper band, secured with six small nails. Much of the banding is gone, but two segments and the nails that once held it remain in the wood. The bowl is in excellent condition but for a small check (slightly over 1”). Great color and an interesting treatment.
