A vintage brass sconce with two arms

A pleasing brass lighting device, whose gracefully curved arms, each containing two opposing serpents, are highlighted by the decorative wall plate. Designed to be electrified, the central hole through which the wiring came out of the wall has been sealed, while the small holes in the two drip pans and sockets have not.

Although similar to mid-century examples by Virginia Metalcrafters and Baldwin, these are unmarked.
