A large pewter pot with handle and lid

The bulbous pot sits on a stepped base, while its handle hangs from two applied supports, each resembling mermaid. On the handle are three stamped marks, two bearing the initials “L H B”, the third with a bird, perhaps an eagle. The helmet-shaped lid is crowned with a spool-like finial.
