A wonderful 17th-century hall table with a single drawer and cross-stretcher with central finial.

The two-board top is framed in a mitered oak border, found frequently on Dutch tables of the period,

and the lower edge of the upper portion is trimmed with a handsome moulding.

The turnings in the legs are exceptionally complex and satisfying.

Probably Dutch, ca. 1660.
