17th century oak joint stool

A tall 17th-century oak joint stool with moulded apron

A well-worn period stool with turned cup-and-cover legs and a moulded apron, which also bears the stamped initials “G S”. Good height for seating or as a small side table.

There is minor restoration to one of the upper blocks and one replaced stretcher. A period piece ideal for daily use. Left unwaxed for its rustic appearance.
