A Charles II oak joined stool

Four slender baluster-turned legs support the undecorated frieze of this sedate stool. Likewise, the lower rails were left plain, while the overhanging seat is finished on all sides by a broad thumbnail moulding. The stool is tight and secure, with good color and condition.
