An early elm and oak joined stool

Petite in size and elegant in form, this little stool is a charmer. The slender baluster turnings are joined by subtly moulded upper rails and undecorated stretchers. Its four small feet are worn and chipped, but original. The single-board seat is distressed and may be an old replacement.
