Compact and simple, this early cupboard has two doors that enclose its upper portion and a deep pot board framed by two simply turned gunstock posts. Each door is decorated with diamond-set applied moulding, and the doors are framed by interesting half-turned bosses. Three simple horizontal moulding courses are applied to the upper portion, and there is a small, applied rail at the rear for the display of chargers or plates. A simple wooden sliding latch secures the left-hand door.
