Early small Shanghai stand

A classic piece in the Shanghai manner, with a joined frame and inset rectangular plank top, below which is a subtly moulded waist. Good red color and fine condition. There are decorative supports on all four sides beneath the apron with pierced work medallions and scrolled braces.
