An oak bible box with carved face

Two tulips adorn the face of this robust box, and there is a till inside. The lid is joined to the back of the box with strap hinges, which appear to be original. The lid has split over its life but is held securely by the cleats at its outer edges and the hinges. There is a small repair to the bottom at the right front edge. Very good color throughout.
