This wonderful flat-cut garnet pendant was created in the mid 1700’s in the form of a six-pointed star.

The pendant is mounted in Pinchbeck, has a bail on the verso, and is currently suspended from a ribbon.

It has been claw set with 25 foiled, garnet stones.

The points of the star are cut in a pear shape, surrounding the central round garnet, and there are clusters of three garnets at the tips between each star point.

The pendant is English and measures 1-1/2” top to bottom, and 1-3/8” side to side at the widest point.
