A stunningly beautiful diamond paste riviére and brooch demi-parure, which comes in its own silk and velvet form fitted box labeled from W. Phillips, Antique Jewellers, London.

The riviére was designed as alternating large and small floral clusters, each with a center stone with a bead/faceted bezel and halos of smaller stones around them and is so amazingly brilliant and sparkling in its closed-back set silver settings.

There is another plus—the riviére separates into two bracelets for additional wearing options.

The brooch was created as large and small floral rosettes, with foliage, all closed-back set in silver and a central large diamond paste with a 12-stone halo.

On the verso there is a silver pin stem with a locking tube clasp; brooch measures 1 ¼ x 2 ¾”.

This brooch may also be worn on a velvet ribbon at the neck, especially when the riviére is being worn as two bracelets.

The riviére measures 16” in overall length, each bracelet measures 8”.

The large flower sections measure 9/16” x ¾”, the smaller flowers 7/16”.

This set is English, near the end of the Georgian period to mid-century.

The demi-parure in its box was presented at a later date to Daphne, 19 September 1928. It must have been quite an occasion, perhaps a birthday or wedding gift.
