These stunning Georgian earrings from the Iberian Peninsula were created in silver and closed-back set with 44 rose-cut diamonds.

The earrings have five separate parts: the top section is attached to the earring backwire (which is gold and hinged--“clicks” when closed)
and has a crescent moon and starburst designs.
Suspended from this is the central section with a moon and stars, one with wings.
This piece has three drop pendants, two with a single star and the bottom drop is a moon and more stars.

The earrings have wonderful movement and catch and reflect light beautifully—designed with candlelight in mind.

They are a very wearable 2-1/3 inches from the top of the earwire, and 3/4 inch at their widest point.

The earrings are in wonderful condition, ca. 1790-1800.
