A lovely brooch created in silver, which has been closed-back set with 29 rose-cut jargoons (white topaz, or colorless zircons) of various sizes.

The piece has been designed as a little garden, or giardinetti, with an 8-petaled flower at the center, with a design of leaves and buds in pierced silverwork .

There is a pin stem and a c-curl catch on the verso of the brooch.

English, early 1800’s, the brooch measures 1-1/2" high x 2" at the widest point.
