This early 1800’s wonderful silver ring bears French hallmarks of a shell and a crustacean (lobster/crab) on the outside of the shank.

The central mount is closed-back set with a foiled, table-cut emerald paste stone (6mm square) in a bezel with a dogtooth/ sawtooth base (8mm), and a round faceted emerald paste (4mm) stone set in silver at each shoulder secured at four points.

The shank joins at the shoulder and is double fluted, creating the look of three bands.

The ring measures 4-4 ½.
