A wonderful pair of Stuart crystal*earrings in silver and gold. The square crystals have been closed-back set on a rose-pink foil with the swirling gold cyphers and surround, over a love token (fabric/hair), all visible under the stepped, Asscher-type cut rock crystal stones. The crystals measure 10mm/ 11mm point to point, the earrings measure 15/16” overall. These earrings have gold, graceful shepherd’s crook earwires, which go into the front of the ear. A rare commemorative of Charles I of England, who died in 1649, these Stuart crystal pieces were only created in England and are highly prized.
