A glorious gold and silver ring, created in the form of a crowned, or flaming, heart.

The large heart-shaped, foiled, rose-cut diamond (.80+ct) is closed-back bezel-set in rub-over silver was crimped at 8 points. The crowned heart is mounted on a 15k gold bifurcated shank with an applied fleur-de-lis at the center of each shoulder, and tapers to an undecorated verso.

Surmounting the heart is a tri-part silver crown in an undulating form, closed-back set with three old mine cut diamonds.

The ring has a slightly rounded back, or ‘belly’ that is characteristic of this era.

It is currently a size 6 ½; the mounted heart measures 9.5x12mm, and the mounting is 17.5mm high overall.

This wonderful ring is English, and dates to the late 1700’s.
