An early silver pendant dating from the 17th century has been set with a double-sided amber heart of the earlier heart shape (no cleft).

The silver mounting is of the dogtooth, or sawtooth type on both sides of the pendant, with a slim gadrooned silver outer edge.

This English pendant measures 1 1/8” including the bail, and ¾” at the widest point, and is now suspended from a dark silver Belcher-type chain which measures 24” and has a spring ring clasp.
