This gorgeous Georgian gold pendant in the form of a four pointed floral/starburst design, closed-back set with 25 garnets in oval, round, and teardrop shapes, with an additional oval garnet in the elaborate bail.

The measurements of this beautiful pendant are 2” across, and 2 ½” from the top of the bail to the bottom of the pendant, and it weighs 13.28g.

As stated by Dawes and Collings in Georgian Jewellery 1714 – 1830, “The most desirable gemstone of Georgian day Jewellery was undoubtedly the garnet.” These garnet stones are perfectly lovely.

This English pendant has been suspended from a later gold woven rope chain (19”) but may easily be worn on a silk cord or ribbon.
