A wonderful gold ring which has been closed-back set with a foiled, faceted smoky topaz paste rosette, or cluster. The large (10mm) center topaz paste stone is ringed with a 9-stone topaz paste halo (5mm each). The verso is silver and has a rounded back, or belly’ that is characteristic of many Georgian rings. The bifurcated 15k gold shank joins the mounting at the shoulders, and tapers to 3mm in width at the back. The ring is a size 9 on a grooved mandrel. A beautiful bourbon color.
