Georgian 18k gold ring has been closed back set in gold with a foiled, stepped/table-cut blue sapphire (4.5x6mm) with a rayed, or basket-backed verso.

There is a notable decorative open work bridge and arched design leading to the shoulders. Each shoulder has two rose-cut diamonds (2mm and 2.5mm) closed-back set in silver.

There are three stepped rib sections at the shoulders on each side as they join the undulating gold shank, leading to a small undecorated central back (thus easily sized).

This wonderful ring is English and is currently a size 7. So very lovely.
