This elegant Georgian gold ring has been closed-back set with an oval faceted pink topaz stone (8x10mm) with six triple crimps, and two old European cut diamonds (4mm), one at each shoulder, crimped-set in silver and placed in the center of a flower mount.

The topaz has a rounded (18k) gold back or belly, which is characteristic of the Georgian era.

The tapering gold shank has acanthus leaves and cyma scrolls at each shoulder graduating to a plain central back, allowing for sizing if needed.

This lovely ring is currently a size 6 on a grooved mandrel.

English, ca. 1810.
