Glorious "Queen Anne" green tourmaline paste earrings in cruciform style set in gilt metal.

The vivid teal paste stones (9x11mm) used are teardrop faceted, with round diamond pastes (4.5mm) mounted between each green stone, all open-back set.

The earrings have their original back-to-front findings, and fit close to the earlobe, with stops as well as wig-ears.

Large baroque pearls (16x21mm) have been suspended by a gold tab from a bar below the lower green flower petals. The earrings, including the pearls, measure 2” overall.

Absolutely amazing earrings!

[Though Queen Anne’s reign ended at her death in 1714, the ‘so-called’ Queen Anne jewelry was created in the mid-1700’s.]
