A gorgeous Georgian 15k gold and silver ring, which has been closed-back bezel-set and crimped with an oval foiled, faceted pyrope garnet stone (sight 6 x 9mm), and four old-cut diamonds (two are 3mm, two are 2mm, set silver-topped, two at each shoulder, the whole mounted in a gold rayed, or basket-backed verso). There is notable decorative open work bridge and arched work to the shoulders, with a two-stepped design at the termination of the shoulders tapering to an undecorated back shank. The deep red color garnet in this ring is quite lovely.

English, ca. 1790-1810, and measures size 6 ½ on our grooved mandrel.
