Beautiful cut-corner flat-cut, earrings in silver and gold. The diamond (clear) paste stones are closed-back set over silver foils, diagonally mounted; they have a stunning look, as the light reflects from the foils.  They have graceful gold shepherd’s crook earwires, which go in the front of the ear. The silver rayed-back versos are rounded, as is typical for this era. The foils behind the stones are bright.

The earrings, English, dating from the late 1700’s, measure ¾” overall. The stones are each approximately 11 mm side to side.
