This absolutely stunning piece sits beautifully on the neck and is gorgeous when worn. The ruby red pastes have a beautiful depth of color, and all 30 stones are closed-back bezel-set in dogtooth mountings of silvered metal. There are floral engravings along the sides of each stone and an engraved flower on the bottom. The overall length of the clasped necklace is 16 inches. The weight is 40grams, each of the mounted stones is 12 x 8m. It is English, and dates to the Edwardian period. The necklace fastens well. There is some wear to the plated metal on the reverse.
