This wonderful ring sends sparkles when worn! Georgian in age, this gold ring was created in the form of a snake with great face, whose head passes his tail, symbolizing eternity. His head is closed-back set with 16 rose-cut diamonds in silver, and he has two old cut ruby eyes set in gold. His swirling tail is decorated with hatchmarks up to a tapered tip, which passes over the head of the snake. The entire inner ring is gold, as is the outer shank, which attaches at the neck and follows around to the tail. Only the top of his head has silver around each of the diamonds for magnification. This snake ring is English, and is currently a size 5 – 5 ¼, but because it wraps around the finger, it is slightly forgiving.
