This is an unusual piece, set with gemstones, turquoise, and pastes. This giardinetti (little garden) pendant has a six-petaled flower, with crystals and paste set leaves leading to a small flower at the bottom. The pendant measures 2”. It is suspended from an old fine silver chain, 15 ¾” in length. This piece has been worn often, and the verso shows wear. English, ca. 1790.
