A splendid intaglio seal/fob in topaz. This wonderful buttery gold-cased bezel intaglio displays a set of initials ‘W B’ in fancy gothic letters. The topaz intaglio seal is bezel-set in a decorated mounting, with acanthus leaves, crescent moon, sun and flowers, leading to a rayed mounting with graceful arched support of acanthus leaves, and a decorated bail with raised ribbed detail which sits atop the arch. This fob has an undecorated split ring through the bail. The intaglio seal/fob, which is in lovely condition, measures 1 ½”  top to bottom, including the bail. The base measures 1” x ¾”. A stunning signet intaglio fob/seal.
