A stunning ring in silver closed-back set and foiled with a pale cognac faceted citrine stone (17mm). The setting has a rounded back, or belly, which is typical of Georgian era pieces. The citrine is held in place by three stylized scallop-shell paws, and supported by a silver bifurcated shank which connects to the large stone mounting at the shoulders. This is a beautiful English ’statement’ ring, which is currently a size 9 ½ - 10.
