This is a glistening Georgian trilogy ring created in high karat gold, which is closed-back set with three faceted, foiled rose-cut diamond stones, each  5+mm. Each of these has a multi-stone diamond halo, for a total of 26 diamonds in the haloes. The height of the haloed settings is 10mm. All rose-cut diamonds are closed-back set in silver for magnification. Swirling leaves and floral scroll decoration at the termination of the shoulders lead to a central back shank, which is undecorated save for a reeded line at the center. The inside of the entire mounting is gold. The height of the diamond-set mounting measures 10mm .This sparkling ring is English, Georgian, ca 1780, and is currently size 6 ½. The glimmer is amazing. Historically the trilogy ring has been defined as a three-stone ring, which symbolizes, confirms, and declares: You are my life--my past, my present and my future is here with you.
