This early heart is set in silver/gilt and was created in an uncleft form. The heart  measures 1”in overall length, and ¾”at the greatest width. The heart is smooth, and is 6 mm thick, and is hollow.  It has been engraved with a Trillium flower. A true love token bestowed on another. It has been fitted with an associated fine 16’ silver chain. English, 1600’s.   This non-cleft heart 17th century piece was found in England. The heart and bale measure 1".
