An unusual Georgian era brooch in the form of a brooch in white enamel, mounted with emeralds and garnets and two river pearls. There is decorative, pierced filigree along the edges of the enamel, and a bail to accommodate a chain, ribbon, or silk cord as  shown, if desired. It measures 1 ¼” high, and 1 ⅞” wide. It has distinct similarities to stone-mounted Hungarian bow knot brooches from the late 1700s and is quite lovely. We have not had another.
