These beautiful Georgian earrings are silver set with foiled cushion-cut amethyst pastes in square, closed-back settings. They are mounted diagonally (lozenge shape) crimped at the bezel and are exceptional. The earrings measure ⅞” long and ½” wide. The measurement of each stone: 12mm x 12mm. The shepherd’s crook gold wires go into the front of the ear. These are in beautiful condition - just lovely -  and are very comfortable to wear. English, circa 1820.
