This is a sparkling piece, currently a curved brooch, or swag. It has seven closed-back set 8mm diamond paste stones linked together in silver the stones have been crimped at eight points on each bezel. It may have originally been worn as an aigrette, or it may be a section of a sparkling rivière, that was divided as a bequest from a mother to her daughters. It measures 2 ¾” in length. The flash from these stones is amazing!
