Beautiful Georgian garnet earrings in silver and gold. The closed-back set flat-cut garnets are mounted diagonally and suspended from graceful gold shepherd’s crook earwires which go in the front of the ear. Suspended from the bottom of the garnet is a free moving, iridescent baroque teardrop-shaped pearl. English, late 18th century. Lovely earrings with great movement to the pearls.
