A pair of large square-base candlesticks

Two very heavy brass candlesticks on square bases supported by ball feet.

The shafts are highly detailed, and the two sticks are in fine condition.

Unsigned. Origin uncertain; oxidation on the undersides suggests a late 19th century date.
