A special pair of mid-18th century gold earrings with prong-set flat-cut almandine garnets (4mm), diagonally mounted.

Each has an attached antique glass pearl (9mm) pendant drop.

The graceful gold shepherd’s crook earwires go into the front of the ear, and the antique glass pearls are nicely matched.

The overall measurement from the top of the gold earwires is just over 1”.

English, mid-1700’s and later.

(Though Queen Anne reigned from 1702 – 1714, the style of jewelry created after her passing was noted as ‘Queen Anne.’)
